The picture above shows Walter Day (chief scorekeeper for Twin Galaxies) honouring Stephen as player of the year at the TG Cordination Day Tournament at Funspot in Weirs Beach, New Hampshire in January 2000, in which he received a framed certificate for his accomplishments in 99'

The certificate reads: "The Player Of The Year Award" Presented by the Classic Gaming Expo 99' and the Twin Galaxies Intergalactic Scoreboard "In recognition of historical contributions to the long tradition of video game playing, Stephen Krogman has been recorded in the historical archives published in Twin Galaxies' Official Video Game & Pinball World Records and will be forever honored for the following accomplishments:

An award for winning two major records in 1999: Stephen Krogman, who had already gained video game immortality for being the Galaga world record holder with over 16 million points, has won laurels as 1999's most successful video game player by scoring new world records on Arkanoid and Tetris, two of history's greatest video game titles.
